EYFS Centre Uniform

Our school uniform is important to us.

It is one way in which we identify ourselves as a school family and it promotes a strong, cohesive school identity which supports high standards and expectations in all areas of school life. Smartness and high standards of appearance are expected at all times.

Although uniform isn't compulsory, smartness and high standards of appearance are expected from our school-aged children and we encourage our pre-schoolers to wear uniform as well so they feel part of the Leeming St. John’s family.

Pre-School Uniform (Optional)

Purple hoodie or purple school jumper (plain or with the school’s logo)

Plain purple or white t-shirt (plain or with the school’s logo)

Black tracksuit bottoms/shorts/leggings

Reception

In Reception, we ask for every child to arrive dressed in school uniform each day. On PE days, children can come dressed in PE kit. You will be informed of PE days on your child’s first week at school.

The above items can be purchased from our supplier The School Shop which will also have the school logo on.  School jumpers, hoodies and cardigans will also have an embroidered surname in the waist hem to help minimise lost items.  Alternatively, parents and carers can choose to purchase uniform (without the school’s logo) elsewhere. 

All school uniform items should be clearly labelled with your child's name.

Children should come to school dressed in their PE kits on their PE days, so these items get a lot of wear!

Sun hats are strongly encouraged during the summer term.

We ask all parents/carers who send their children to Leeming St. John’s CE Primary School to support the school uniform policy.

Second Hand Uniform

Whilst we do not have any items in our new school colours, we have a small selection of other second hand uniform available.  Please ask at the school office for more details.

We do encourage parents to donate uniforms that their children have grown out of.
